2011 is KJV's Birthday!
Celebrate! Read! Watch! Participate!
The King James Version is only a part of the Story of the
Bible. But right now there are hundreds of events, books, videos, and exhibitions celebrating the 400th anniversary of the KJV Bible.
Most of all, I want you to enjoy reading the King James Bible.
ENJOY THE KJV BIBLE!
Over the last 60 years, each time a new Bible translation has been released, the publisher has said the KJV is difficult to understand, inaccurate in parts, and explained why we need the new translation. And we have tended to believe the advertising rhetoric. But we still recite the 23rd Psalm from the KJV and celebrate Christmas the with the words of the KJV. A passage from the King James Bible will be posted on 100 favorite KJV passages page every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. This really is a treasury of the most memorable and beloved selections from the most influential book in the English Language. You can see the list of passages here.
